Underwood's was a chain of franchises at one time and the chopped bar-b-q, orange potato salad, all you can eat yeast rolls and cherry/peach cobblers were a staple from the restaraunt on Route 66 in Amarillo for my family in the 1960's.
Sadly, the franchise locations have slowly all closed and the only one left is the family-owned site in Brownwood, Texas.
I traveled about an hour out of my way on a recent trip just to experience Underwood's once more.
